II-V™ OPTICAL FIBER’S SMOOTH SPECTRAL RESPONSE AND ROBUSTNESS IDEALLY SUITED FOR INFRARED COUNTER MEASURE (IRCM) SYSTEMS
Hamden, Connecticut, December 8, 2008 - IRphotonics (www.irphotonics.com), a leading provider of advanced infrared fiber and materials announced today the availability of its new II-V™ mid infrared fiber targeting Defense & Aerospace applications. The II-V™ mid-IR fiber offers a spectral transmission from 0.4 to 5.5 µm with low attenuation and no spectral absorption peak.

- Operating temperature: -20 0C to 150 0C
